TRAVEL & HIGH SCHOOL TRAINING PROGRAMS

All of these programs are geared towards developing a better product on the ice for the High Schools and travel teams here in the valley.  We have many other programs on the go or in the works that involve all other age groups, so it is important that we act on this as soon as possible so as not to miss out on prime ice-time or being able to run these clinics at all.

These programs will better prepare the high school and travel athlete for their season:

BODY-CHECKING CLASSES:  Classes can be booked.

All times are at 5:45pm and the cost is $150 per player.  The focus will be on proper giving and receiving of body checks, plus developing each player's ability to protect the puck.

POWER SKATING: these sessions will improve any skater by working with the stride until it is perfect and by building leg strength in the necessary muscles.  This too can have flexibility with days and times.

SHOOTING CLASSES: this will be grouped into four consecutive sessions that will enhance the player’s wrist shot, backhand, snap shot and slap shot.  Focus will be on proper positioning, weight transfer, follow through and power.  These classes can be scheduled as demand increases.

STICKHANDLING CLASSES: will have its focus on proper stickhandling skills, puck control and puck-protection.  Our professional instructors have a wide variety of drills to make sure the players are working hard and learning something new all the time.  Classes will be booked as demand increases.

CONDITIONING CAMPS: 3 to 5 day camps that work on all aspects of the game, especially conditioning.  This is a great way to get into shape and hone skills prior to a season starting.  The combination of ice and Ozzie ice with dryland training will have any player at the top of their game.

SEMI-PRIVATE & TEAM TRAINING: this is good for more of an individual focus on weaker areas of a player’s game.  Programs can be set up to specifically help out 1 or more players to work on areas that need development.
